Our Mission

Bellmobi is a start-up focused on helping brands and agencies deliver a seamless and elegant customer experience that spans the journey across devices; from desktop to mobile, tablet, second screen, and other emerging customer touchpoints.

Our Team

The founding team is a mix of user experience, design and technology experts.

  • Norman Stolzoff
  • Tiana Melquist
  • Aaron Linkous
  • Sahil Gandhi
  • Amber Miller
  • Al Gandy

, Co-Founder

Norman is an accomplished applied anthropologist who has happily strayed from academia into the wilds of technology, development, and consumer research. He has more than a decade of helping companies innovate and build exceptional user experiences. His successful track record includes engagements with Microsoft, PepsiCo, Princess Cruises, Expedia, 1-800-Flowers.com, JCPenney, CNET Networks, 3M, and Whirlpool. He has a BA from Stanford and a PhD from UC Davis.

, Co-Founder

Tiana is an Ivy League gypsy who enjoys experiencing the diverse realities and opportunities that exist in the bigger world. Although now very settled in Bellingham, she remains interested in global phenomena such as the shifting landscape where culture meets technology and consumer demand. Prior to founding Bellmobi, she was Vice President of Business Development for Ethnographic Insight, Inc. She has a MA from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico and a BA from Dartmouth College.

, Developer + Designer

Aaron got his start doing print design for a little home town company called Walmart. Hungry for life experience beyond Arkansas, he joined the Marine Corp and then eventually landed in Vegas doing web development for the rich and famous. Tired of the desert, he found Bellingham and its small town charm that reminded him of his hometown... but with more plaid... and more beards. Aaron tackles challenges through a designer's eye, from a developer's desk, and from a UX standpoint, but is happiest when approaching a project from all of those angles at once.

, Developer

Sahil recently finished a Master's in Computer Science from University of Houston-Clear Lake and is officially out in the real world, gaining developer chops. Despite not yet owning a raincoat or a fleece jacket, he is somehow making the climate and culture transition to the Pacific Northwest. Back in India, Sahil got his Bachelor's in Information Technology from Dr. BA Technological University and worked at IBM before coming to the US.

, Design + New Media Intern

Amber is a gamer at heart; she loves exploring the intriguing worlds created for her and interacting with new elements and interfaces. From gaming she has developed a passion for user-centered design. She got started in design by making her artwork digital, which led her into designing for the web. Although a California native, she loves the cool, refreshing air of the Northwest. In the future, Amber hopes to use her design to help foster care and low-income youth, as a way to thank the many people and foundations of WA State that helped her receive her new life and education.

, Design + New Media Intern

Al has his own personal story of climate change, from the blistering heat of Indonesia when he was very young to the tolerable heat of California in his teens and finally to the absence of heat in Washington state as an adult. His interests have also migrated over his lifetime, from illustration to video games to video production to web development. Fortunately, he has been able to combine them all at Western Washington University into a Design and New Media degree. As a senior, he is looking forward to the benefits of graduation like having more time to watch horror films.
